Formal Requirements to Articles
We ask our authors to prepare their manuscripts taking into consideration the following guidelines.
- The average length of articles in our paper is 1 sheet (40 000 characters with spacing), the degree of deviation should not be more than fifty percent. (The number of characters can be checked in word processor programs.)
- Authors should pay attention to the structure of their essay.
- The articles should in any case start with an abstract of 800-1000 characters.
- Asterisked footnotes following the abstract should contain information in connection with the preparation of the study and the acknowledgements, which is followed by the occupation (postal), home and e-mail address of the author.
- The main text should be well structured, subtitles should stand in bold letters before chapters and in italics before subsections.
- A list of reference(s) should be given at the end of the study with the complete name of authors (in the case of foreign authors the initials of first names is sufficient) in small capital letters, with the date of publishing, the exact title, publisher and place of publishing and the exact title, year, number of volume, month of issuing and page number of the paper. It is sufficient to refer to works with the surname, date and page number within the text. In the case of word for word reference the indication of exact page numbers is necessary.
- Tables should be numbered continuously throughout the article (numbering is not started again at new subsections). A title has to be given to each table and the measure of values included in them has to be indicated as well. Tables are to be written with a spread-sheet editor (otherwise we have to type them again, which increases the chance of mistakes.)
- Illustrations have to be given a title as well and they have to be numbered continuously (numbering is not started again at new subsections). Notes on illustrations and their sources have to be indicated right under them. We ask for good-quality printed copies of illustrations as well.
- Formulas should be numbered continuously in brackets on the right side (so that numbering is not started again in each subsection).
Please do not forget to send the publishing agreement to our editorial office (you can download the publishing agreement from our website as well.)
